How did Kevin O’Leary Become a Client?

It's funny…

When people find out about one of my better known clients, Kevin “Mr. Wonderful” O’Leary from Shark Tank, they usually ask how I started working with him. 

Sometimes it is from curiosity, and other times it is because they are trying to unlock the “secret” to landing celebrity clients. 

It’s interesting…

From Kevin O’Leary, to Captain Shephard on BRAVO’s Below Deck, to Justin Guarini, Broadway Star and American Idol Alumni, all of them become my clients not by accident, but by strategic initiative. 

If I want something…I don’t say “I wish,” I figure out how to make it happen. 

Kevin became a client after a group of entrepreneurs and I split his speaker fee and brought him for the day to talk to us. As we went around the room I explained that I am an ROI-based digital marketing strategies and he was hooked…asked me right there on the spot to start working with him.


Captain Glenn became a client after I was on an episode of Below Deck Sailing (airs tonight at 8 pm EST on BRAVO!) More on that tomorrow. 

And Justin Guarini became a client after we met on Clubhouse, vibed and I invited him to be an emcee for one of our events. 

All of the relationships came from a goal and then taking action on it. 

But how do you do this at scale? 

I am putting together a special masterclass about exactly that.
