I’m not going to lie. I suck at money…left to my own devices I would give it all away and then freak out when it comes to paying the mortgage. Thankfully, I know my shortcomings and sought out advice. A friend recommended this book to me and it dramatically changed the way we managed the money in our company. EVERYONE that reads this book has a similar reaction. Want a shift in profits this year ? Read now.
My good friend and North Star Coach, Jason Tucker recommended that I read this book by Andy Stanley. It is brilliant. Not just for growing a church, but the thought process around making your company/membership/coaching group a welcoming space for not just the old guard but the newbies as well. If you have customers or want to have customers, get this book.

I just listened to the audio book of Traction and it’s great! I read Never Split the Difference after seeing Chris Voss speak (so I guess the recommendation come from him) and I love his stories and his views/tactics for negotiation.
The game changer for me personally was Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes. It’s a great book and also being introverted like her, I think about this book whenever I’m confronted with doing something “extroverted” that makes me uncomfortable. I’ve been able to do take on some new things that I normally wouldn’t have done.
Cashvertising. Copywriting Secrets. Influence of persuasion.
Maybe my top three.
I say they are mandatory!)
Thanks for the list
All of these books sound amazing! I recommend “Over Deliver”. But I need to check these out for sure!
I really like Building a Storybrand by Donald Miller because it talks about how to get into clients’ minds through the ancient human art of storytelling. Selling was tough for me to get my head around because it felt sleezy, but his approach helped me see it in a brand new light.
Thanks for sharing your favorites, too!!
I am a HUGE fan of personal development/improvement, and the best book I have found to date is Jack Canfield’s Success Principles. He has gathered some of the best of the best FROM the best out there!
Do yourself and check it out….

My favorite is “You Are a Badass” by Jen Sicero
The Big Leap by Gay Hedricks. Fabulous for inner growth.
The E-Myth by Michael Gerber was a huge asset when my husband and I decided to go into business together. I reread it recently as we have hired our first full-time manager!
