Going for my early run this morning, I got to thinking…
About vacation and if my run was along the beach instead…
If I was on a long run on the beach in the host sun, on a fabulous fall break vacation, upon arrival back to my beach chair, would I want the waiter to start listing the 100s of drink options they have, or simply ask me…
“Would you like a cold glass of water? “
H2O please.
And after I hydrated, perhaps I could (definitely would) peruse the cocktail, smoothie or coffee menu. (Or a frozen espresso martini for all three in one…yes please.)
Because the thing is….
You have to solve the immediate need before you can move on to do anything else.
And the same is true with your target market…
Before you can help with “all of the things” you have to help solve the immediate thing they want solved.
And get specific about it…
Your prospect isn’t looking for all the things. They are looking for the one thing they need to solve a specific problem right now.
We recently worked with Brian Kaskavalciyan and the Wealthy Contractor to create their front-end message and offer. We narrowed down all the things they help their clients with the one thing their client wants.
Brian presented his new mastermind this weekend and 100% of the attendees in his session joined.
100%
Offer value first, and then you can solve the other problems they have.
Water, and then frozen martini.
Your 100% conversion moment is waiting.
Cheers,
Kim “Running and Hydrating” Walsh Phillips
