(Aka stuff we are thankful we don’t have to live without)
In honor of going into our 22nd year in business (that alone is reason to give thanks!), #TeamPowerful and I are sharing the 22 things we are most thankful for this year.
Please add what you are most thankful for in the comments.
In 2022, Here’s What We are Most Thankful For:
1. Our amazing family squads, including spouses and partners, kids, parents, puppies, silly kitties and all of the amazing sparkle-worthy humans and animals in our lives.
2. Team Power and the love and care each and every one has for one another and our tribe. They get it and live our purpose with joy…it is the stuff most just dream about but never get to experience.
3. Teachers, medical professionals, our soldiers and everyone who sacrifices on the daily. You are doing the work that allows us to do ours and we are so thankful for you. If we could buy you each a Ferrari, we would. For now, we send our love.
4. The ability to pause before responding, via post comment, verbal response or email reply. May we continue to take a moment and ask for our understanding to come from more than us to let each person know that they matter even when we disagree.
5. Our first in person retreats with our full Power Tribe. We had two of them in 2022 and they were the best of days with the best of people. We cannot wait until 2023 to do it again.
6. Virtual workshops, cocktail parties, and dance outs with others via Zoom…because scaling your business can be one heck of a good time.
7. Small Victories – The big audacious goals aren't met overnight, they are met each day with small changes worthy of celebration.
8. Homemade Brownies with thick icing, gummy bears at the TJ Maxx check out counter, cookies with our logo on them and pretty much dessert of all kinds.
9. The Hallmark Channel, for showing us how to find love in a small town with wedged hiking boots.
10. Jack's Hot Pepper Jelly – worth the heartburn. Trust us.
11. Starbucks holiday cups and the life changing liquids they put in them.
12. The scalloped edge of Charmin’s toilet paper which is not only bringing style to the potty but showing us you can always find a blue ocean in any niche.
13. Cocktails and mocktails with friends near and far.
14. Quiet time to regroup, reflect, and grow.
15. For Doordash, Shipt, Target Order Pick Ups, Uber Eats, UPS, FedEx and USPS and other unsung heroes delivering all of the things.
16. Business travel back in full force taking us from Arizona to Italy from New York to Malibu and beyond this year.
17. Spiritual practices, disciplines and leaders to fuel our faith and fire to serve.
18. Spanx…winning the Emmy for best supporting role.
19. Hotel rooms for having ironing boards that serve as pop-up laptop tables for Zoom-ing on the road.
20. Company-wide Half Day Summer Fridays and long holiday breaks to refresh and renew.
21. God-Whispers and gut instincts.
22. Our Power Up , Inner Circle, and Inner Circle Elite Members and entire community for the impact you are making on the world…you are exactly what the world needs right now.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours…may you be blessed boldly now and always.
Thankful for the God given gifts I have that allow me to help others in this world!
Thankful for the God given gifts I have that allow me to help others in this world!
Thankful for God’s Abiding Love! And for his son Jesus our Savior! God bless you all!
I could just say dido to almost everything Kim listed which would be true. I also want to add all of the people I love who love me back. My furry four legged family members who are better than people most of the time. For being given opportunities and allowing myself to take them so I can be more of the person I want to be remembered for instead of who my limmited thinking told me I am. Thankful for all if the many ways I have been blessed even when I could not see it at the time. Thankful that love, kindness, and smiles are all free gifts we can share with anyone who needs it at anytime, and grateful I have recieved many in my life so far. To now know I am not leaving this planet without leaving a mark!
A warm fire and a warm dog.
I am thankful that in my quest to learn more about business, I’ve learned more about my personal growth and how that helps me to remain grounded and present for my two daughters and family
